Saturday SlobberLove

Sometimes, just for the fun of it, we make ourselves remember when we had to haul everything to the shit hole laundromat and we feel despair and then we gaze upon our gorgeous Mrs. Washer and Mr. Dryer and we joke about doing an entire load DEDICATED TO ONLY UNDERWEAR and we sip champagne and talk about how handsome the font is on the Cold/Cold, Cold/Warm, Warm/Hot, Cold/Hot, Hot/Hot combinations and then we take off our shoes, rip off our clothes and run through the streets screaming:

WE PROMISE WE WILL NEVER COMPLAIN ABOUT ANYTHING AGAIN

Oh, sister, more than legal wine and no pantyhose, having laundry in the home is my proof of independence and adulthood.

For me, modern sewage disposal makes my girlie parts feel all silly.

I hate when people say I Heart My Blah-Blah-Blah but I HEART my garbage disposal. It's magic. I wrote a whole post about it but I can't figure out how to link back to it because I am computer dumbish.

If I lived close enough to a beach that my dogs could have their ears look like that a couple of times a week, I would never, ever complain about anything ever again!

Laundry is the bain of my existance - Just the thought of my machines not working makes me shudder......

Sorry, I've been away drinking copious amounts of champagne myself.

I will never forget the first day I ever owned my own washer and dryer. I kissed them right there in front of the deliveryman and I thought, this must be just like what the lady who carries the bucket of water on her head every day felt like when her husband finally broke down and had the plumbing put in.

Zadgey: this was actually in Big Sur and it was one of the most beautful beaches we've ever been on and Cooper ran for days. Where we live, in Santa Monica, the only time we can take him on the beach without getting shot is between 6 AM and 7 AM on the weekends and even then we are Fugitives From Justice.

I got my first NEW washer 3 years ago and I love its font too.

first of all: hand over the dog. Adorable.

second: I only have the new(ish) washer. i'm not very impressed w/the font on my 10 year old dryer, in fact, it so worn out, I can barely see the font

I heart my washer and dryer so much I matched the tile in the laundry room to the beautiful oval logo badge on the front of them. I feel better admitting it...thanks.

I once went without a washer the two weeks before Christmas. The new one was literally a gift from the baby Jesus.

It's like we should tell someone that the Dryer Worship niche is underserved in the marketplace. (I just wanted to say "niche")
