We used to go the Baskin Robbins when I was a kid. My sister got bubble gum ice cream EVERY SINGLE TIME. This puzzled me terribly, given that they had chocolate and peanutbutter; still does, in fact. She also like jello, which, just no...especially the kind with green grapes suspended in it, like bodies in a pool.

When I wrote that post I envisioned the poor lady with the ponchy stomach at Baskin Robbins scooping into the blue-pink-green-red-purple monstrosity that was Bubble Gum. I think that was when I started asking WHY? a lot.

Cupcake, now that's a vision. Here''s what I don't understand today and it's a big one in my life: Why teenaged girls have the incessant need to talk and talk and talk and talk without taking a breath until each and every one of the feelings in their deep reservoir of hormones and teenaged angst is unleashed and this happens 3 times over, every single day of my life. I sometimes think I will implode from the barrage of chatty chat directed at me.

There. I feel better now.

I have written my song of praise to your glorious, poetic soul. I hope you like it. It's on my blog today.

Joann Mannix recommended your blog and I am so glad she did! I agree on what you don't understand. Bubble gum ice cream? Only pre-teens get that.

Popped over from Joann's Laundry. I'll see you Bubble Gum Ice Cream and raise you Bubble Gum Flavored Tooth Paste. Gross! I also don't understand why so many people who actually go out in public think they look good in hip hugger pants with a muffin top bulging out.

Came over from Joanna. I am jealous because I thought I was her best friend.

Having lived in Gettysburg, those folks that showed up to reenact were downright weirdos.

Also, I love the taste of Soy milk but feel firmly that soy will not save the world.

I absolutely wonder about the monthly civil war reenactment people. Heck I wonder about the people that reenact it yearly.
Why?

Yeah, what's up with the Civil War reenactments? Seriously? And bubble gum ice cream..what could be worse!?

I'm here after reading JoAnn at Laundry Hurts My Feelings post. New follower!
