Cooper Being Robert Redford in The Way We Were

"I know there is a likely chance you won't believe this but that movie was so romantic that even my gut-wrenched butterfly stomach was weak from sad sobbing, longing, lovelorn lost, Why Do You Have To Be a Socialist?, beach/boat scenes to die for, side swept blond bangs, lanky-sexy walk down the staircase, coulda-woulda-shoulda, WHY-OH-WHY-OH-WHY-NOT-WHY? dreamy all of what we wish about love" he says, making the maple leaves he sits on look devastatingly handsome.

We NEVER EVER EVER NEVER humiliate Cooper B. Dawg by making him wear various vests and such HOWEVER when we hike into the wilderness we (meaning I and only I) get very very very very very very nervous about Coops getting too cold so we (meaning I much to the dismay of him meaning my cruel husband) purchased something the hound could throw on in the evening as we sat round the fire. Who knew it would only serve as a place to urinate?

That movie makes me sigh out loud with the beautiful Robert Redford and the socialist Babs and the scene on the boat at the end, when his friend says, "Best Year?" and the beautiful Bob just starts listing the years. *Sigh* I am a sucker.

And we bought the hounds some sweaters, erroneously thinking they would enjoy the warmth in these 20 degree temperatures. When you slide the sweaters on them, they stand still and hang their heads in shame, as if to say, "I am a DAWG, not a dog." And to even further torture them, (we keep them in the basket with their dog toys), all we have to do is pick those sweaters up out of the basket and they flee. It's great fun to chase them around the room with sweaters in hand.

Have a beautiful Christmas, my friend.

I think I hear the Village People singing "In The Navy"! As long he is in the wilderness, I think the sweater is OK.

Merry Christmas to the Cupcake family!

I was sure Cooper was Ernest Bourgnine in McHale's Navy, but the hair style was a little off.

Very handsome sweater! My dog wears one too, when the temp goes below 25. (No belly hair)
